The Boston logic page wizard is a two tier system to assist in the building of agent websites. The first tier allows admins and brokers to create templates for a variety of pages that each have numerous content and image options. The second tier is an agent environment where they can choose and customize the templates which they want to use for their site, by choosing various combinations of approved content, as decided by the admin or broker. In this help document we explore the functionality of both tiers.

Tier One - Page Wizard Templates 

(Only available to Admins and Brokers)


To navigate to the Page Wizard Template builder from the Admin homepage, click Content - Page WIzard Template.

The first time the admin comes to this page it will be empty. To begin using the Wizard, click the Page Options button in the upper right. This takes the admin to the Wizard Page type selection page.

On this page, the admin can choose from a list of all page types that are available on agent sites. The admin can select as many page types as they want to use then click “Save Page Choices”.

Wizard Template Builder

The admin is then be returned to the Page Wizard Templates page and the selections they have made now show up as collapsable categories, each with a call to action to “Create New Template.” The admin selects the page they want to create a template for and clicks the associated button, bringing the admin into the template builder with the proper page type selected. Please note, the admin can also click the “Create New Template” button in the upper right hand corner of the screen to enter the template editor.

The page title can be entered under text field asking the admin to title the template. It is recommended that admins use descriptive names for the template that helps agents choose the proper template when creating their agent site, “Homepage with banner image, text area and featured listings” for example.


Below that field is a pick list titled, “Choose the page this template will be used for.” The admin selects the page type that they want the template to be associated with from the list. 


At the top of the page is the section to build the template. The list of elements is in the left hand column and the canvas for the template is the blank space on the right. The list of elements is organized into the following categories with the following entries:


  • Image

    • Banner Image

    • Banner Image Slider

    • Single Large Image

  • Photo Wrap

    • Photo Wrap Left

    • Photo Wrap Right

  • Misc.

    • Title

    • Paragraph

    • Button 

    • Link

    • Call Out - This is a title, Image and Content combination. 

    • Featured Listings Slider

  • Double, Triple and Group Under all of these groups the admin has options for groups of the following elements:

    • Images

    • Buttons

    • Links

    • Callouts












The admin simply drags and drops their chosen elements onto the canvas in the order and layout that they want.

The admin can move elements up and down the page to reorder them to the desired layout. After being added, any element can be deleted by clicking the “X” in the upper right hand of the element. 


When the admin adds an element, a setting configuration array appears in the right hand column of the page. This gives options for Content & Title (when appropriate), Picture and Video Choices (When Appropriate) and Page link Options (When Appropriate).

Title and Content


In title and content, the admin is able to enter in place holder or boilerplate text that acts as base content for the agent to replace or modify when they are building their version of the template.

Note: The admin cannot create placeholder text for Button or Link Elements but the agent can will be able to edit them in their wizard environment.


Picture and Video Choices


The admin can add as many photo options for an agent to choose from. When the admin first open this part of the array it looks like this:

Click on Add Pictures/Videos to choose photos/videos from the library server.

If you have no existing images/videos from in the server, go to Content > Page Wizard Templates > Image Library >Add Image/Video to add in images/videos. 




Page Link Choices


Admins can choose where the agent can link to from the page. When the admin opens, “Page Link Choices,” they are met with a number of options;

  • Add all Area Pages - Frequently, the agent wants to showcase neighborhoods or towns that they focus in. We have given the admin a one click option to add all area pages as link options. 

  • Add all Market Insight Pages - Frequently the agent also wants to market trends in neighborhoods or towns that they focus in. We have given the admin a one click option to add all area pages as link options. 

  • Allow Linking to other local pages - Selecting this option allows the agent to choose any local page on the system that they have access to.

  • Allow linking to external pages - Selecting this allows agent to link to pages on third party websites. 

  • Choose a Page/Add a Page Link - The admin can also build a custom list of pages that they want to offer as options by clicking, “Add a Page Link” and choosing individual pages to offer as options. 



Double, Triple & Group Options


For elements listed under the Two Across, Three Across and Four Across Options, there is additional Title and Content Fields for each element. So for a group of two callouts the array would appear in this format:

The admin would then create placeholder text for the three callouts and select what images/videos and link options they wanted to offer for the group of callouts. 


Saving a template for agent use


When the admin has created their template and added all placeholder text, Images/videos & link choices they can scroll up to the top of the editor and click Create. This publishes the template for agent use and they are taken to their list of templates organized by page type.

The admin can create as many template options as they want by repeating this process from the Wizard Template Builder section on.
