Path: Leads > Contacts

In order to convert a Contact to a Lead on the Boston Logic Platform, first and most importantly, you must be the user associated with that Contact. Even though the Contact might be shared and visible across the platform, only the user that uploaded the Contact will have the option to convert them to a Lead. 

1. Navigate to Leads>Contacts. Click on the name of the Contact to bring you to the Contact's detail page. 

2. In the Contact Detail Page, in the upper right corner, click on "Actions." Within the submenu, select the "Add to Leads" button.

3. The Lead will then be assigned to the Agent who was associated with the Contact.

**If the Contact was associated with an Admin, the Lead will be placed in the Unassigned queue.
